These changes are only relevant to tests conducted using the TH320R system.  

• Improved test analysis 

Our improved algorithm will be applied to all new tests automatically.  

 Optional for historic tests - you can have the algorithm run across your historic test data if you choose. 

 The new PHI values will be higher than previously reported. Depending on the individual pole, the PHI score will on average increase by approximately 10%. 

• Wood options 

We have introduced new wood type options. This will allow more accurate results for some of the more popular wood types used for utility poles around the world. 

If your pole wood type is not known or not one of the new options, please continue using either the softwood or hardwood options.
